Caring for Your Dog’s Teeth
A dog, like a human baby, experiences the world through his mouth, by tasting and chewing on things. But, he also uses his mouth is as his hands. He carries and pulls with it as well as defends himself. Therefore healthy teeth and gums are very important.
A dog’s teeth need the same care as a human’s. Therefore, it’s important that you take care of his teeth as you would your own. The best way to do this, of course, is to brush them, which should be done at least twice a week. There are special tooth brushes designed to fit in a dog’s mouth as well as special chicken flavored tooth paste to make the task easier. But sometimes, brushing your dog’s teeth can be a real hassle. For instance, there are some dogs that will flee at the sight of a toothbrush and it is very had to coax a seventy pound Rottweiler from under the bed.
So, how can you get Bruno the Rottweiler to care for his teeth? Here are several alternatives to toothbrushing.
Dog Food
Dog food is a major cause of tooth decay. Believe it or not, canned dog food, though it tastes real good, is not good for Bruno’s teeth. Therefore, you should not feed it to him all the time; once in awhile, as a treat, or on a special occasion is fine. Instead, Bruno should eat a good quality hard dry dog food. This will keep his teeth and gums exercised, as well as cleaned.
Bones
Of course, Bruno needs more than just dry dog food to keep his teeth white and his gums healthy. Chewing on things, such as sticks, the furniture and golf balls, though it is good exercise for his gums, is not very healthy, especially if he were to swallow the wrong thing. Or, in the case of the furniture, just chewing on it is not a good idea on his part. So, you can provide him with a bone, either rawhide or real, as a diversion. These come in various sizes to fit your dog. Bruno will want a larger one, while a smaller dog would necessarily need a smaller bone. Either way, he can exercise and clean his teeth without fear of choking.
Enzymatic Rawhide Chips
You can try some of the rawhide chips that are infused with enzymes designed to kill your dog’s bad breath as well as remove tartar and plaque. However, the taste leaves something to be desired and Bruno may not like them, thus leaving them untouched. If he does not use them, they won’t work.
Regular Visits to the Veterinarian
Of course, the veterinarian is the best person to keep Bruno’s teeth in perfect health. As much as he will protest, regular visits insure good oral and physical health. Your dog’s veterinarian will provide him the proper care that will keep him healthy and happy for years to come.

Principles Of Success
Succinctly said, success is harmony. When the result is congruent with the ideal, success has been achieved. When the thought germinates and ripens to produce the consequence desired, victory is accorded.
Success is not happenstancial or accidental. It is intentional, providential congruency. Success comes from the direct application of certain knowledge. Success is the result of an intentional act of creation. In order to consciously create, one must first learn AND then apply the principles of creation. Those principles can be called the true knowledge of how things come into being in the universe.
The seven principles of true knowledge are:
1) Consciousness:
All things originate as a thought form, an imaginaton. (An imaginaton is a thought form, a single distinct unit of consciousness, just as a photon is a single distinct unit of light or an electron is a single distinct unit of negative electro-magnetic vibration.)
Thought is creative. Your thoughts create your reality.
What are you thinking? Who or what is in control of what you are thinking? Are you?
How many of the 60,000 thoughts a day that pass through your mind are purposely chosen? How many are just noise? Or worse, how many of them are distractions from and destructive to the creation of your ideal?
Learning to control your thoughts is the first step in becoming a conscious creator.
What is your prevalent emotional state? How do you feel about your self? What do you feel about how your ideals and thoughts?
Your emotional states and prevalent attitudes are just as critical to success as are your thoughts. In fact, your emotions are the power behind your thoughts. They act as a type of gravity to draw to you the elements necessary to effectuate your ideals and specific thought patterns.
Success lies in owning and controlling your mental and emotional states of being (or aspects of self).
2) Coherence:
Everything is in balance; as within, so without; as above, so below.
The world you see around you is a reflection of the world already existent within you.
The conditions and circumstances of your life are the result of certain causal forces.
The external world is the effect; the internal world of thought and emotion is the cause.
The physical arises from the metaphysical. The temporal arises from the eternal.
Strive to bring coherency to all aspects of self.
Success is a question of balance, of perceiving the relationship between effectual and causal and then acting in accord with that knowledge.
3) Frequency:
Everything is vibration.
The true nature of all things is not in the appearance of things, but, rather, it lies in the frequency, periodicity and amplitude of their vibratory nature.
Every existent thing is because of the coherence of its’ vibratory elements.
Your every thought and every emotion is your personal vibratory output.
These vibrations intersect and interact with other preexisting vibrations in your world. These interactions create interference patterns that produce either harmony or discord.
When they produce harmony, you have success. When they produce discord, you have failure. Success comes from understanding the flow of things.
4) Comprehensiveness:
Everything is duality within unity.
Nothing stands alone or is separate or merely coincidental. That is simply the appearance of things to those who do not perceive the greater reality.
Everything is part of one whole. Everything is relative and all things are meaningful. There is a lesson of value in every thing and every event.
Success comes from seeing, learning and applying the lessons inherent in events and conditions.
5) Harmonics:
Everything flows in waveforms.
There is a flow to congruity in all things. Going with the flow is more efficient.
Harmony creates harmony. Discordant thoughts bring discordant results. Scattered emotions bring scattered reactions. Become proactive. Be intentionally harmonious.
Allow choice rather than chance to govern your thoughts and emotions.
Success comes from the intentional congruity or harmony you bring to bear on the various aspects of your self. Learn how to catch the wave and ride it.
6) Cause and Effect:
Everything happens in accord with natural law.
There is a reason for all things. The universe works a certain way. It is not accidental. It is providential. Creation unfolds according to certain natural laws.
All science and all philosophy is an attempt to describe and find meaning behind these natural laws. Learn how the universe works and then work the same way.
You can best be creative by being in accord with these natural laws.
Success is learning to see the consequences of your thoughts, feelings and actions.
You are not apart from natural law. These same laws that govern the formation of atomic structures and entire galaxies also govern you and your vibratory output of thought, emotion and action.
7) Polarity:
Everything has masculine and feminine aspects, positive and negative polarities.
There are two sides to every story inner and outer, positive and negative, front and back, up and down, masculine and feminine, waves and troughs, dark and light. Without this duality, there would be no distinctness.
Without distinctness, your result would be immaterial. Without distinctness, you would be immaterial.
If you desire material results that are in accord with your ideals, then you must learn to balance polarities.
All material things exist because of the balance between polarities. An atom exists because of the balance between positive (proton) and negative (electron). That is natural law.
The world is your mirror. What you see in that mirror is always your self. Success arises from being able to see both sides of the mirror. That is to say, by being able to see the underlying unity of your apparent duality (or the separation of your self from your world and your results).

Seven Common Marketing Problems Solved by Marketing Operations
Corporate marketing groups - especially bandwidth-challenged small-to-mid-sized departments - can be so focused on tactics and fire fighting that they jeopardize their marketing investment. There is a tendency to overreact to events, to tackle symptoms rather than underlying fundamental problems and to jump at the opportunity to please the boss. Many times, this kind of tactical knee jerking may be fatal.
Without great marketing, companies won’t flourish, especially those in highly
competitive markets. Yet the chaotic nature of emerging or dynamic growth
companies and the tendency to place the marketing burden on too few individuals is
a setup for failure. Promising companies may be left in the dust, or at least
handicapped at the starting gate.
Marketing Operations is emerging as an important discipline for improving
performance and measuring ROI in admired technology companies (like Intel, IBM
and Amazon) who have refined and fine-tuned their marketing organization with an
operational focus. Given the demands that these organizations face today, an
innovative approach is central to solving critical issues like results measurement,
bandwidth constraints and creativity limitations, and building value-added
outsourced supplier relationships and effectively managing budget. Many of the
best practices, efficient processes and systems approach from large company
Marketing Operations can and should be applied by emerging companies that are
serious about their marketing investment. Here’s why:
PROBLEM #1
Ill-defined metrics
Today, more than ever, corporate marketing departments need to justify their
existence. The need to measure results is unavoidable. However, the instincts and
skills that make an outbound marketing practitioner great-action-orientation,
verbal and written acuity, persuasiveness, the ability to build strong relationships-
often don’t translate into an ability or willingness to scientifically and objectively
evaluate success. Add in broken systems and the organization’s unwillingness to
pay for marketing evaluation, and it’s no surprise that many marketing departments
are unable to define meaningful success metrics.
SOLUTION
Marketing Operations ensures that the right processes are in place to establish
meaningful metrics at the front-end of marketing process, enabling the
measurement of success at key intervals, and as each program concludes.
PROBLEM #2
Slammed resources
The prevailing attitude of “doing more with less” can leave key people discouraged,
overwhelmed, near burnout, and eventually, circulating their
resumes. The consequences for organizations are costly mistakes, high turnover,
and collapsed programs when key people leave, and missed opportunities to
leverage the “ugly-stepsister-Cinderella-in-waiting” programs that never get off the
ground because of a lack of ownership.
SOLUTION
Marketing Operations addresses these resource limitations by ensuring workload is
effectively allocated, roles are clearly defined, interdependencies are understood,
team members feel satisfied with their jobs and the programs and additional
resources, whether through additional headcount or outsourcing, can be
successfully justified to executive management.
PROBLEM #3
Sketchy institutional memory
Marketing is dependent on accurate information, a historical view into past
successes and failures, and the ability to recognize patterns that link seemingly
unrelated data points. Unfortunately, knowledge in many marketing organizations is
scattered all over the company. It’s in the heads of individual workers, on shelves,
on people’s hard drives, in long forgotten filing systems. When people leave, a big
piece of organizational knowledge goes with them. Information loss is a huge
productivity killer for marketing teams. Lost insight that must be regained or
reacquired wastes previous marketing investments.
SOLUTION
Marketing Operations facilitates knowledge sharing, an enduring repository of
information and greater decision-making based on fact, as opposed to hunch.
PROBLEM #4
Constrained creativity
The best creativity comes from many brains working together in collaboration. A
consequence of the age of the “individual contributor” director is constrained
creativity. When the entire creative burden falls mostly on one outbound marketing
person, the ability to think out of the box can be severely impacted. Creative
synergy results from many minds thinking as one.
SOLUTION
Marketing Operations enables the creative process to benefit from the synergy of
team.
PROBLEM #5
Failed supplier relationships
Most successful companies can point to strong, long-term marketing supplier
relationships as integral to their success. Likewise, a pattern of failed supplier
relationships is often an indicator of marketing department failure, rather than poor
vendor performance. Unfortunately, companies that have had consistently bad
relationships with outsource suppliers often react by seizing control and bringing
everything in house. While this strategy may provides the illusion of control, it lets
marketing managers deflect blame for failures, rather than teaching them how to
manage their outsource suppliers by taking responsibility for the results. In
addition, this strategy won’t scale with the growth of the organization.
SOLUTION
Marketing Operations helps set realistic expectations and mutual accountability
between suppliers and the organization, increasing the effectiveness of outsource
partners by empowering them to act as an extension of the internal team.
PROBLEM #6
Lost discretionary budgets
Use it or lose it. Misuse it and lose it anyway. Many corporate marketing
departments are leaving discretionary budget on the table or allocating it to
the wrong initiatives. This discretionary marketing budget “Catch 22″ occurs
because:
• It’s very time consuming to manage the budget effectively, especially in companies
with broken financial systems
• Each marketing spend-decision creates more work for the one-person or small-
team
marketing department in terms of project management, measurement, supplier
management, etc.
• Doubt persists about the ability to successfully justify the expenditure to
management
• Focus is instinctively on high-visibility marketing activities and C-level executive
“requests” over fiscal management (marketing people are more inclined toward
marketing than finance)
SOLUTION
Marketing Operations facilitates implementing the system support infrastructure
and financial management discipline needed to protect precious marketing budgets.
PROBLEM #7
Narrow marketing mix
Many companies align their fate with the success of too few marketing programs.
Whether it’s lead generation, public relations, trade shows or advertising, the over-
reliance on any one particular program can derail a company-especially if a key
program unexpectedly loses momentum. In the meantime, programs that could
have had strong leverage never get a chance to prove their mettle and are forever
relegated to the “B” list.
SOLUTION
Marketing Operations puts the means in place to launch potentially high-value
marketing programs that would never otherwise get out of the starting gate.
The Bottom Line
In a nutshell, Marketing Operations is an organization’s best bet to:
• Ensure that success can be measured and replicated
• Leverage systems and processes to enable consistently excellent performance
• Encourage great marketing departments to stay together
• Allow the marketing organization to flourish, despite the unexpected, but often
inevitable, loss of a key employee.

The Best Acne Cures

Since acne is the most common skin disease in the United States, the best acne cures are, fortunately, found close to home.
The condition of acne includes black heads, white heads, pimples and under skin lumps or small cysts which occurs mostly in our teen years when hormones are simply playing havoc with our metabolism.
Best acne cures are needed, though, even up into the 40’s, if you are dealing with stress, or toxins in the atmosphere become imbedded in your skin, or for simple reasons of heredity.
Most cases respond to the best acne cures, but if your case does not respond well, you may need to consult a dermatologist and then use the best acne cures that find, with care to prevent serious and permanent scarring.
The absolute best acne cure, and by far the least expensive and easiest, is to keep the skin clean and free from dirt and oil! Uses soap and water or peroxide, or a specialty face cleanser, and wash the affected area several times a day.
Some of the best acne cures are proven medications that include Benzoyl Peroxide, Retin-A or Retinoic Acid, antibiotic lotions, hormonal therapies and corticosteroids, which are a powerful anti-inflammatory, prescribed for very short courses to treat only the most severe acne .
Even with the best acne cures, patients may expect that it could take weeks or months to bring acne under control.
The best acne cures and treatment should be geared towards the individual’s needs and condition.
Natural solutions may be the best acne cure for you.
These acne cures could include mudpacks, facial treatments, steaming the affected area to open pores and applying Vitamin E to the area.
Keep in mind that the best acne cure is to keep your skin as clean as possible, and the second is to keep junk foods, which are toxic to your system - Out!
These two tips will lower the chance for infections and reduce the outbreak of acne.

Prepare your Triathlon Staging Area
In most of the races I’ve participated in, there will be rows of bike racks set up and numbered. Your spot may be pre-determined by your race number and you may have no choice about where you are to set up. Other races may have no set structure. In this case, I like to have my bike near the aisle if possible. Make sure you take note of where your spot is located. In a big race with hundreds of participants, it’s tough to locate your bike in a sea of bicycles if you don’t remember where you set up. I saw a person once run around the transition area for about 5 minutes trying to locate their bike.
In most of the races I’ve done, the bike rack will consist of a horizontal pole with vertical supports every so often. I’ve found that it works best for me to hook the handlebars to the rack by putting the brake levers over the pole. This way, the bike is stable on the rack and you can quickly lift it off when you are ready.
You’ll probably want to have your bike transition area laid out strategically. I lay things out in a logical sequence for how I put them on and take them off. The first thing I do is I lay down an old towel alongside my bike. I have my biking shoes at the edge of the towel with my running shoes just behind them.
If you are using a bike that has regular pedals or toe clips, you probably won’t have a separate pair of bike shoes. However, if your bike has racing pedals with clips, then you’ll have a separate pair of shoes with cleats attached to the bottom, kind of like how ski boots clip onto the skis. If you are serious about training and racing, you will probably want to upgrade at some point to clip-in pedals. They will help you develop a smoother, powerful pedal stroke because you can push and pull through the entire pedal revolution. See this link for more information about training with clip-in pedals.
If you like to wear socks when you run (or bike), lay the socks over the top of the appropriate shoes. If I’m going to wear a shirt, I lay it across the seat of my bike. Next, I lay a small towel on top of my bike shoes (more on this later). On top of the small towel, I lay my number strap. If you don’t have a number strap, I highly recommend getting one. Here’s why. First, you can pre-attach your number sheet to your belt strap. You don’t have to worry about trying to attach the number to your shirt. This will help you avoid a lot of problems. Second, I don’t like the number on the front of my shirt while I’m bent over my bike. It feels like it gets in the way. Finally, I often don’t wear a shirt during the bike race, so I don’t want to have to wear a shirt just so that I can have my number displayed. If you get a number belt strap, you can just quickly put it on and turn it around so that your number is behind your back while you ride the bike.
I put my sunglasses inside my bike helmet and then I lay the helmet on top of my running shoes (which are directly behind my bike shoes). I put my water bottle(s) on the bike before the race. If you wait until the transition to put your water bottles on the bike, you’ll add a few more seconds, or worse yet, you may forget to take water on the bike. It’s vital to stay hydrated and the bike is the best place to drink because I find it much harder to drink while running.
This is probably a good time to discuss what to wear under your wetsuit. As a male, I prefer wearing a Speedo® or Tyr® racing suit with the longer legs. This way, they double as bike shorts. You can also buy combo suits that have a padded crotch, but I don’t like the way they feel when they get wet, so I use my regular swimsuit under my wetsuit and I just jump on the bike. Depending on the temperature, I might throw on a shirt or I might go shirtless. Women will probably want to wear a racing swimsuit or combo suit for the duration of the race.

Toile Fabric Will Be Perfect For Your Home
Toile fabric is the most beautiful and elegant of all the different types of fabric. Toile fabric is named after a fabric that was made in France in the early 19th century. Most Toile fabric features complex drawings on simple backgrounds, such as complex drawings of roses over a simple blue background. While Toile is mostly used on fabric, it is also possible to buy child fabric Toile wallpaper or Toile drapery fabric.
Toile may be used in contemporary settings but is best suited to formal traditional decorating schemes. Its busy patterns work best in large expanses, which allow the patterns to fade into the background a bit. In small spaces, a large toile pattern can be overwhelming. However, it is possible to find specially made Toile fabric for small places.
Tips on finding cheap Toile Fabric.
Even Toile fabric is usually a little expensive, it is still possible to find inexpensive Toile fabric. Try checking a store that has fabric toile wholesale along with other discount fabrics. Be aware that it is possible to find child fabric toile for young children that are much less expensive than the normal kind.
Also, be aware that some types of Toile fabric are very delicate and should be handled with care. If you find Toile fabric that is inexpensive, you will be able to enjoy the wonderful designs and great art for many years to come.

Say No to New Years Resoltions-Set Great Goals Instead
The new year is almost upon us and just like every year some people are excited about what next year has to offer and many more are not sure what life will throw at them and are just willing to let the chips fall where they may.
There is a better way.
The way I start each year is by looking back, looking at where I am today and finally looking at where I want to be tomorrow and then creating a plan to make a better tomorrow happen.
With goal setting most people just look at what they want and then create a plan to get there. My method of life planning is much better as it does not just look at myself as a superman and allow me to collapse as soon as any problem gets in the way of my goal.
To start you must have a notebook and realize that this notebook will be your companion for the next year. Give yourself an hour to get started and know that you will likely be sitting down a few times over the next few days, if New Years Day comes and goes while you are in the midst of this process do not worry. Even though we always look at new years day as the switch that begins a new year remember that you are creating a map and a route that is much more important and long lasting than the flip of a calendar, the end of a day, or a fuzzy idea in the middle of the night whose idea of importance is reflected only by the thoughts and actions of a very few minutes.
To do this life planning correctly you must begin by looking back at the last year. Sit down and ask yourself the following questions.
What did I plan to do this year? Write this list by writing down one at a time with a couple lines between them. Look back and see all of the things that seemed important for a short or long time and write them down in a big list. Did you include health and exercise, spiritual goals, financial and career goals, holiday plans, leisure plans?
What happened to these ideas and plans? Did you complete one or more of these things on the list? With the one that were completed, great. For the ones that you didn’t complete, great as well. This exercise will allow you to see from a bit of distance what was important and what was not important apparently.
Now for each of the items in the list that you completed look at the obstacles that you had and how you over came them. You will probably find that for your accomplishments you were in one way or another motivated to really complete and not just “wishing” to finish. Also go to the things that did not work out. What was the level of priority and what kind of obstacles stopped you? Are these long term plans that can’t be finished? Were you just hoping to get these to work? Write out some detail on each of these things on the list and reflect on how you felt about the idea of each of these one year ago today.
Remember that every goal should be a S.M.A.R.T. goal. That is that every goal must be Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time Bound.
Now you have a nice basis for building on what you have now and what will be the highest priority plans for next year. You are going to find a few common threads from the last year. Maybe you procrastinate. Perhaps you are unrealistic with your time and resources. Likely you wanted certain things that were not that important to you at this time in your life. For the things that you did accomplish you are going to see that you needed to complete them either for your job, your ego or for people that rely on you. You may know now how I will have you look at the next year.
Create goals for what is really important and do not just put lofty goals that are not critically important to you. The real reason that most people fail with their new years resolutions is that they are not important enough for them and they are really just goals that sound good at the time. You probably see from your accomplishments over the last year that the things that you did right were not planned on new years eve but instead in March or June or even November, so if you want to succeed then you will need to find those things that would make enough of a difference in your life that you will not let any of the obstacles that get in your way to stop you.
Now for planning for next year!
Look at you list of things that you did not accomplish this year. Are any of them really important? Are there any that you can accomplish right now for a quick win to start the year with? More importantly get the ones that you did not complete and are not important enough and just put a line through them in your list. Many of us hold on to goals that we are not going to ever complete as they may be lofty but are never really that important to us and just take some of our waking time. Some scientists say that almost all of our thoughts today are just thoughts recycled from yesterday, if these thoughts are not going to do us any good then dump them so that you can free up some space in your head for more things that are really important instead. After you have gone through your list look at the following list and see if there are anymore things that fall into what should and will be done.
Spiritual Goals
Health and Fitness Goals
Monetary Goals
Career Goals
Family Goals
Entertainment and Leisure Goals
I find that most people that try to make goals or that come up with systems tend to be very narrow focused. What would be wrong with goals to eat the food from 10 different countries? If you need a little help to really see the big picture I have found a site called www.43things.com this site has list of what people would like to do from all walks of life and many of the ideas are sure to surprise you.
Now that you have a list do not worry about how big it is, I have heard people say no more than three goals should ever be on your list and another that says that you should have 101 goals. Your list is yours and you now have to go to your list and figure out the following.
How long will it take to complete this goal/outcome?
How important is this goal to me to complete?
What will happen if I do not achieve this goal?
What are the roadblocks that I can expect to have crop up because of my weaknesses in the past?
What will I get if I complete this, what is the reward?
Are there any goals that I should achieve first to get this one done?
These are big questions and are the questions that never get asked when we just jump at making a new years resolution. Answer these questions for each of your goals and don’t really belabor the questions or you will never get them done.
Let’s say now that you have 10 things that you want to complete by the end of January, 30 things that you want to complete by the end of the year and another 10 for the end of next year. Now you have to have some kind of action plan to get it all completed. Most of getting a goal completed is to get your head aligned with what you want to get, to do this make sure that you have a roadmap to completing each of your items and then your mind can really believe these things possible. After you have done this pull out your daytimer or at least some kind of sheet of paper and list down each goal and when a certain part of it is due so that all of those things in life that get in the way won’t stop you for these.
Celebrate your accomplishments, share your dreams, and always make this day the day that will make tomorrow even better.

Tips for Designing a Home Office

Biz Ops
Setting up a home office that will enhance productivity while
offering comfort isn’t as simple as it sounds. Many home workers
juggle and struggle to determine the best setup for their needs.
Think Comfort Studies show that efficiency decreases when we are
uncomfortable. Lesson to be learned: don’t sacrifice comfort for
beauty when selecting your furnishings.
Use Mobile Furniture Reduce grunt work. Few of us enjoy an hour
spent shoving and pulling a heavy filing cabinet from one side
of the room to the other. Office furniture with wheels or
similar mobility aids will make life much simpler. It’s easy to
set up, easy to rearrange, easy to move for cleaning or to
retrieve lost items.
Remember to take accurate wall measurements before you go
shopping for office furniture. Take wallboards, heating ducts
and other such items into account.
Some manufacturers are making office furniture with adjustable
surfaces so you can work either sitting or standing. Before
buying, be sure your home office has adequate space for this
feature.
Think Convenience How much fun will it be when you have to crawl
under a desk on your belly to attach your new printer to the
back of the computer? Computer makers don’t make things easy for
us, but with a little pre-planning, you can place your computer
so you can actually get at those hookups when you need to.
Check Your Wiring Make sure your home’s wiring is adequate to
accommodate office machinery and various computer hookups.
Ensure you that you can use three-pronged plugs to ground your
equipment. Check for electrical hazards — being especially
cautious of hazards to children and pets.
Be Mindful of Wall Outlets and Phone Jacks Stringing a long cord
across the living room and into your home office isn’t a look
that Martha Stewart would endorse. If your office area doesn’t
have outlets, you won’t regret the cash it takes to have them
installed.
Communicate Efficiently So, your best client phones with a big
order but he can’t get through because your kid is on the
Internet!
If you’re sharing a home with other people, you need a separate
phone line and Internet hookup for your office. If you spend
much time on the Internet yourself, a direct connection like
cable or DSL is very, very helpful.
Make it Safe! When you work from home, you don’t have a
Workplace Health & Safety Committee looking out for your best
interests. Learn about workplace ergonomics and take it
seriously. Having to shut down your Internet business because of
carpal tunnel syndrome isn’t a good business plan.
Remember your eyes. If you’re on the computer for long hours,
get a glare-resistant screen for the monitor, or ask your
optometrist about glare resistant eye-glasses.
You’ll need to position your monitor so sunlight doesn’t shine
on it directly. If this can’t be arranged easily, be creative
about finding a way to block the sun. An artist’s easel holding
a large poster or chart is one approach.
Light It! The best lighting is lighting that allows you to see
what you are doing without strain to your eyes. Many find that
incandescent lighting is easier on the eyes than fluorescent

Deduct It! You’ll want to check with your taxation department,
but in many countries, some aspects of a home office are tax
deductible. In Canada, for example, you can deduct a portion of
home expenses (rent, utilities, etc.) for your home office. BUT
your office must be separate from the rest of the house and used
only for business purposes. Find out what’s deductible before
you file your taxes.

Accelerated Bachelors Degrees
Accelerated bachelors degree programs are designed to accommodate busy adults who have not earned their bachelor’s degree. An accelerated bachelor’s degree course may last one to two years. Many colleges and universities are offering this option to working people who are too busy to attend regular classes.
The cost of an accelerated bachelor degree program can range from $15,000 to $25,000. You can browse the Internet for colleges or universities that offer this program in order to find out the specific fees, courses, subjects, duration, etc. You can e-mail or call these institutions for more information, or request a catalog through the mail.
Most programs entail compulsory attendance of classes and study groups periodically, which may be one night for each per week. Since attendance for classes and study groups is not optional, you’ll need to have a prescribed percentage of attendance, somewhere between 60%-70%, to be able to take your final tests.
Entrance requirements for an accelerated bachelor degree program may include proof of high school graduation or a GED (general educational development) certificate, a minimum of 60 college credits with a GPA (grade point average) of 2.0 or higher, and a minimum of two years of practical work experience.
Business administration, technology management and human relations are some of the most common courses offered by programs like this but there are a host of other courses too, including health care, education, social and behavioral science, and e-Commerce. So it’s best to do a little research while keeping in mind your interests, line of work and career before making any decisions.
Bachelors Degrees provides detailed information about bachelors degrees, accelerated bachelors degrees, bachelor of arts degrees, bachelor of science degrees and more. Bachelors Degrees is the sister site of Nursing Continuing Education Courses.
Bunco Party Theme Ideas
Bunco is a great game that is rapidly taking over in our living
rooms. It’s not your grandmother’s canasta game!
Bunco allows for regular get-togethers with family, friends, and
neighbors as you can meet on a monthly basis, while rotating
hosts. It’s fast paced and gets you mixing with all players
(usually 12) as you rotate from table to table.
Couples can play together in the group, or increasingly popular
is a monthly girls night out. For the girls night out, set up
the TV show Desperate Housewives as you play!
Decorations
*Hanging fuzzy dice and lots of black and red balloons.
*Line the area with casino themed posters and art
*Use
poster board to create large playing cards and dice
*Playing
card piatas
*Hang large playing cards suit cutouts on the
walls.
Invitations
Purchase decks of cards and place an invitation inside. The
decks can be mailed or hand-delivered to each recipient.
You can also create your own theme with Bunco related items such
as dice and playing cards.
Food/Drink
*Have different stations throughout the room with finger foods
and snacks.
*The best drinks include popular mixed drinks
and beer.
*Be sure to have soda on hand for the
non-alcoholic set as well as water for all.
Music
Play the host’ favorite tunes or from his/her era (70s, 80’s,
90’s, etc.). For a girl’s night out, play “chick flick” movies
in the background.
Have a great Bunco party!
